Com desejos de viajar? Que tal ir até à Sardenha, no Sul de Itália, a segunda maior ilha do Mediterrâneo e a pouco mais de duas horas de voo do Porto?
O destino Sardenha tem agora um voo direto a partir do Porto, com a Ryanair : Porto-Cagliari (leia Cágliari, com entoação no primeiro a 🙂 – e os representantes do turismo da Ilha vieram até ao Porto promover o destino, numa operação de charme e de divulgação.
“Muito mais do que uma Ilha” é o lema, e eu …….já ia. Ci andiamo?

Willing to travel? How about Sardegna, South Italy, the second largest island in the Mediterranean and about two hours and half flight from Porto?
Destination Sardegna has now a direct flight from Porto, operated by Ryanair: Porto – Cagliari (read Cágliari with strong first a 🙂 – and the tourism representatives of the island were in Porto to promote the destiny, in a charm operation and promotion.
“Much more than an island” is the mote, and I……would go right now…..Ci andiamo?

Uma ilha, mar azul, areal extenso, bom tempo, veleiros no mar, pizza, pasta, cultura, parlare italiano……Quem não quer ir já???
A Ryanair acaba de tornar o Destino Sardenha mais próximo, com o lançamento do voo Porto-Cagliari, a acontecer duas vezes por semana, directamente do Aeroporto Sá Carneiro, até ao aeroporto de Cagliari.

A Ilha
A Sardenha é a segunda maior ilha do Mediterrâneo, fica no Sul de Itália e Cagliari, a sua capital , situa-se no sul da Ilha.
(leia Cágliari, entoação forte no primeiro A, para parecer um verdadeiro italiano a falar).
A Ilha tem cerca de 24 mil kilómetros quadrados e consegue ser percorrida em cerca de três horas.
Para melhor desfrutar de toda a ilha a melhor opção será alugar um carro ou então uma mota.

Para além da praia, e das temperaturas amenas que se fazem sentir durante todo o ano, a Sardenha é um destino rico em história e cultura, com eventos culturais a terem lugar durante todo o ano, e também rica em gastronomia e vinhos (ou não estivéssemos a falar de Itália!)
Uma das festas anuais importantes é a festa de Sant’ Efísio, padroeiro da Ilha,, que tem lugar a 1 de Maio com uma procissão que envolve todas as gentes da Ilha, anunciado-se assim a Primavera.

Destination Sardegna is now much closer, as Ryanair just launched the flight Porto- Cagliari, with twice a week flights, directly from Sá Carneiro airport to Cagliari airport.

The Island
Sardegna is the second biggest island in the Mediterranean, it’s in the South of Italy, and Cagliari, its capital is in the south of the island.

The island has about 24 thousand square km and can be surrounded in about three hours.
To best stay in the island the best option is to hire a car or a motorbike.

Beyond the beach, and its good temperatures almost along the year, Sardenha is a destiny rich in history and culture, with a lot of cultural events taking place, and also rich in gastronomy and wines (well, it’s Italy!!)
One of the most important events is Sant’ Efisio celebration, on first May, with all the people from the island participating. The celebration announces the Spring.

A apresentação do destino Sardenha decorreu na passada semana no Hotel Intercontinental, onde nos foi dado provar algumas iguarias típicas da região.
Para o evento, para além de representantes do turismo da região e do director do aeroporto de Cagliari, veio também o Chef Pierluigi Fais, dono do restaurante Josto al Duomo e criador da recente Pizza criativa Framento, e que foi quem nos preparou a refeição.

The presentation of the Destination Sardegna took place last week at Intercontinental Hotel porto, where we could taste typical food from the region.
Besides representatives of the Sardegna tourism and the Director of Cagliari Airport, there was also Chef Pierluigi Fais , owner of the restaurant Gosto al Duomo, and the creator of the creative Pizza Fragmento who cooked for us.
