Wish restaurant, an elegant choice

Voltei ao Wish, um restaurante de charme na Foz Velha, e voltei a gostar. Muito.
I came back to Wish, a charmful restaurant located at Foz Velha, and again I liked it a lot.

Se gosta de restaurantes elegantes, mas ao mesmo tempo descontraídos e aconchegantes, fora do rebuliço da Baixa da cidade e inserido em ambiente bonito então o Wish é perfeito para si.
Localizado no coração da Foz Velha, no bonito larguinho e em frente à Igreja de S. João da Foz, com possibilidade de almoçar na esplanada, o Wish é uma excelente escolha.

O Menu

A carta aposta em influências mediterrâneas e japonesas, sob a mestria do Chef António Vieira, e também numa grande variedade de sushi.
Desta vez, foi mesmo essa a minha aposta – um sushi vegetariano que me fez as delícias. (na carta, há mais duas ou três opções vegetarianas, entre pratos de pasta, risotto, ou saladas 🙂

If you are fond of elegant restaurants, but at the same time cosy and relaxed, away from the busy life downtown, and in a beautiful environment, then Wish restaurant is perfect for you.
Located at the heart of Foz Velha, at the beautiful square and in front of a Church, with the possibility to have lunch outside, Wish restaurant is an excellent choice.

The Menu

On the menu you have mediterranean and japanese choices, created by Chef António Vieira, and a great sushi variety.
This time that was my choice – sushi – a vegetarian sushi that was really good. (And in the menu there are some more vegetarian options among pasta, risotto or salads).

A decoração do Wish tem o cunho de Paulo Lobo, nome já conhecido na decoração de interiores de vários locais no Porto.

Já em maré de dietas (que a balança anda a acusar!), resisti à sobremesa, mas quem gostar de doces, parece que são uma verdadeira tentação, principalmente um pudim de abade priscos com gelado ou um cheesecake de tangerina……beem,,,,,:)

As I was on a diet (well, the weight gain is now very visible!!) I avoided dessertm, but you should not, they are known to be irresistible, specially a typical portuguese pudding with ice cream, and a mandarine cheesecake …., well,….:)
