Larica significa fome, na gíria, e no Larica Food Congress foi do que se falou – do futuro da gastronomia nacional e de como o panorama da restauração portuguesa se propõe saciar…a nossa fome.
Organizado por jovens alunos da Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Porto, e tendo-se realizado nas suas instalações – o Larica Food Congress reuniu vários Chefs nacionais e mais algumas personalidades ligadas ao panorama da nossa gastronomia, para nos darem a sua visão sobre o tema.

Larica means hunger, and at Larica Food Congress that a was the theme – or about the future of national gastronomy and how portuguese Chefs see the subject and their proposals to stop our hunger.
Larica Food Congress was organised by young students of the Porto Hospitality and Tourism School, and it took place at its place, gathering a number of well known national Chefs and some other personalities from gastronomy world, to talk about the subject.

O evento dividiu-se entre conferências e debates, espaço para street food e coffee break, um mercado biológico e degustações, uma masterclass, final de tarde com chill out e networking num dos lindos jardins de um dos bares da cidade – o Letraria – e, para quem quisesse, um jantar a 6 mãos no Euskalduna Studio, um dos restaurantes revelação recentes do Porto.

Event was divided in conferences, debates, street food place, an organic market and tastings, a masterclass, the end of the afternoon with networking and chill out at one of the nice gardens of a top bar – Letraria – and for those who would like, a 6 hands dinner at Euskalduna Studio, one of the recent revelation restaurants in Porto.

No final do dia os participantes foram convidados a deslocarem-se até ao Letraria, (que ficava muito perto) para degustarem 3 diferentes cervejas e três tapas.
